What is NCR paper?

NCR paper, also known as “No Carbon Required” paper, is a type of specially coated paper that allows for the creation of multiple copies without the need for carbon paper. NCR paper is commonly used for creating duplicate or triplicate copies of handwritten or printed documents.

What is a NCR Set?

An NCR set, also known as a glued set, carbonless loose set, or a multipart form, is a collection of individual sheets of NCR paper that are glued at one edge. They are NOT padded in 50s like a pad or book but instead come as individual glued loose sets.

How many Sets in a NCR Pad?

Our personalised NCR pads usually come as 50 sets per pad. However, we have customers who prefer pads of 25 sets, or pads of 100 sets and this can be easily arranged upon request.

Can NCR paper be recycled?

Yes, the NCR (No Carbon Required) paper we use can be recycled.

Can you print on NCR Paper?

Yes, it is possible to print on NCR (No Carbon Required) paper. NCR paper is designed to work with various printing methods, including laser printers, inkjet printers, and dot matrix printers. However, it’s important to ensure that the printer is compatible with NCR paper and that the appropriate settings are used for optimal results. Depending on the type of printer you may need to print on both pieces of each set.

How to use NCR forms?

Simply write or fill out the information using a pen. Place an NCR set on a hard surface, or slip the writing shield provided with pads and books under the set you intend to complete. Press firmly with your pen, but not excessively, to ensure the transfer of the impression to the subsequent sheets.

Should I choose NCR Sets, or Pads, or Books?

A lot depends on how you intend to use your new NCR forms.

Pads are a great choice for everyday use. They’re best suited to an office environment. Ideal for use where all copies are distributed as the form is completed. Often used as work permits and invoices.

Books are a great choice for use around workshops, building sites and delivery vehicles due to their more durable finish, stronger binding, and a protective front cover. Pages are perforated, allowing the user to either remove all pages or retain a copy within the book if preferred. Commonly used as receipts, waste transfer notes, plant checklists and daywork forms.

Sets are for everyday use and are ideal for multi-site / multi-user applications. Attach to individual items or hand out a single form to an operator for completion. Popular as timesheets.
